The Tlingit Haida Regional Housing Authority (THRHA) is now accepting applications for the remaining funding under the Housing Assistance Program (HAF).
This is a one-time program designed to assist Alaska Native homeowners who are facing housing emergencies and have been impacted by COVID-19.
Applications must be fully completed before they can be reviewed or a determination made.

- Skagway
Eligibility:
Applicants must fall below 150% of Area Median Income (AMI), with priority given to households at or below 100% of AMI. (Click here for current income tables)

Eligible Items for Assistance:
- Essential repairs for homes lacking functional heat, water, or electrical systems, or homes with damaged roofs or significant structural issues.
- Assistance to prevent the loss of a home through foreclosure or utility shutoffs.
What You’ll Need to Apply:
- Tribal ID
- Proof of household income
- Documentation of homeownership
- Home insurance or self-indemnification
